●●CCTV (China Central Televition Station)apologized for its staging video of Olympic torch bearers' donating money to victims suffering from the devastating earthquake striking Sichuan Province, China.

●●The video was aired on 13 May in CCTV's " News Simultaneous Broadcasting" or Xin Wen Lian Bo, the most important news program everyday which has the highest ratings. The video shows three Olympic torch bearers' donating money with empty hands after the relay in Fujian Province that day. The video stimulated the netizens' anger wildly.

●●After the investigation, CCTV turned out that the torch bearers were asked to pose for some photographers after the " real" donation. The footage shoot by Fujian Televition Station were sent to CCTV via satellite without censor by the local tv.

●●The apology statement on the homepage of CCTV says that the editors of the national tv "failed to check it out because when they got the footage the air time was extremely urgent, and they were already busy with the live special program covering the earthquake". CCTV also apologized to the torch bearers for misunderstanding and the criticism.

●●They quibbled that the torch bearers were asked to pose for some photographers, not journalists.Why did the journalist of
Fujian Televition Station shoot the scene donating money with empty hands? What can they do with the fake footage?

●●2008年5月13日《新闻联播》新闻"奥运圣火完成在福建龙岩的传递"，播出了奥运火炬手为灾 区人民捐款的画面。画面中三位火炬手只有捐款的动作，手中没有拿钱。

●●据查证，这是一些摄影者请求火炬手们在捐款箱前合影留念的画面，作为素材传回福建 广电新闻中心，但该部门在未经值班主任审查前，将长度近2分钟的捐款活动素材传送给了 中央电视台。而当时距新闻联播播出时间非常接近，加上当时正在忙于直播特别节目，导致 编辑人员在时间非常紧的情况下，没有仔细审核，将这一画面编辑并播出。央视就此郑重道 歉，并表示这次误编画面的播出给三位向灾区捐款的火炬手也带来了不良影响，在此也向她 们致歉。

●●他们辩解说，火炬手是应一些摄影者的要求在捐款箱前摆造型合影留念，是"摄影者"，而不说是"记者"。那为什么福建电视台的记者拍摄空手捐款的场景？拍这种虚假的镜头­干什么用？

论坛网友： "昨天火炬在福建龙岩展开传递，传递结束后火炬手为灾区人民进行了捐款，可是捐款一幕让我不禁心头一凉。" 在这个危难时刻，作为中国人我们都应该出自己的一分力，但龙岩站火炬手捐款的想法似乎没那么强烈，捐款现场，每个捐款者的手都在捐款箱上比划了一下，貌似捐款的样子，但是­手里什么也没有。央视居然将这样的新闻播放给全国人民观看，似乎有点说不过去。 真相：事实上，四川地震牵动了全国所有人的心，身为一个火炬手，他们不可能造假，也不可能眼看着灾区人民受苦受难而不作为，这件事情的真相我们冷静地分析一下就应该清楚。­圣火传递结束后，主办方举行了一个募捐活动，但现场太多记者了，以致"媒体一哥"央视没有拍到很好的赈灾镜头，唯有事后补拍，但这时火炬手身上的钱可能已经捐出去了，也有­钱不在身上的原因。而央视居然无视这一点，公然将这样的镜头播放给全国人民观看，没想到这样所造成的效果，实在可笑！

中央电视台公然造假让人失望，不能再假了，再假了以后谁信啊？

这次造假说明中央电视台对歌颂性报道审查不严，如果是揭露性报道，可能会审查出来。

please watch carefully. the girl donated money and then she put her hand back. Maybe a photographer asked her to stand there for photo taking. so she put her 'empty' hand on the box again.
