Exactly! The medical term for this is "caput succedaneum". The head already takes on the shape of the birth canal.

Clearly u ppl don't know surgery. The umbilical cord has to b clamped until umbilical tape replaces it and ties it off otherwise the baby's main blood supply will come rolling out!! Duh! And those a typical clamps! Not scissors! Haha. Ridiculous. Typical Americans that dont know what scissors looklike!

You people are idiots. That baby cried. He was in the blanket with clamps on the umbilical cord, not scissors. Medical care is not really something that has really been a part of childbirth until fairly recently. Native Americans used to squat, give birth and go back to work. The baby wasn't wrapped up with scissors, those are CLAMPS! Also, they cut the mother in an approved way. There are 2 ways to cut someone for a c-section. 1 being the traditional "bikini" cut and the other is the way showed in the video. I saw nothing cruel about this video. I will be having my 4th c-section in a few weeks. Not much is different about this c-section and those performed everyday in America. People need to stop over reacting!
