@eeemanjam even the pros aren't WOT on the 500s all the time, once you hit it WOT your commited to going that direction because you cant muscle even a 500 to turn quickly if youve hammered the throttle down.

The idiot factor is high in the comment section. Anyway, I liked the bike and videos you have put up here. How hard is it to get parts? The only thing that I don't like about the Maicos are the right hand drive system running so close to the rear brake pump. Is that an issue?

@Jacare1973 Not hard to get parts once you know where to go. If cant get parts locally just get from Germany, for the older bikes. MI will have their own parts website when the bikes are released. I have not had any issue on my 04 Maico 500.

Wow at 3:52 didnt no you can start it like that,you would think the compression is alot harder for a 700,but you are a large rider how much horsepowers is it?

@kxmade Thats not me, its like 80HP. The bike has a compression release to make it easier to start.
