The solution is to divide Lebanon. South is for the Christians/Druze. Central Lebanon for the Moderate Muslims and North, for Hezbollah and other militants. Should Hezbollah decided to go to war with Israel, war will be confined in their own terrirtory. Thus, sparing Lebanon from wholesale destruction.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the government of Iran, not it's people. They're known supporters of Hezzbollah. It's actually quite surprising to find out how many pro-western or at least western-friendly people exist in Iran. I have a friend who went skiing in Dzin and stayed in Tehran afterward. He couldn't shut up about how nice everybody was. His only complaint was that he didn't like the coffee in Iran (I guess it was ridiculously strong for his liking)

this is a good wake up call to the Obama admin who is trying to suck up to radicals.

Brigitte seems like one of the few people who really gets what is going on. Maybe having lived thru it gives her a more realistic perspective, not like all of those PC apologetics.
