Singing in Cantonese is a lot different from speaking Cantonese. Any accent is masked by the music. Non-native speakers usually have difficulties with the 8 to 9 Cantonese dialect tones. Try asking them to pronounce these 3 sentences in Cantonese: 1. I kiss you. 2. I smell you. 3. I ask you.
