  • Its a mine? man sized corridors and hollowed chambers with loose gravel floo, definately, still interesting though

  • Is it many who dies in the caves ? Who never find out ?

  • I think this is marked on OS maps of Afon Elwy valley. I may be wrong but it was called Hunters Cave said to have been used by Neolithic hunters. I take the point about it being on private land and the estate owner wishing to avoid accidents or litigation but would urge anyone who is accosted by shotgun wielding gamekeepers to report the matter to the police as threatening behaviour. They may own the land but some of these cocky B's want taking down a peg or two.

  • This cave is no longer accessible to public due to the owners decisions re insurance. Visitors are likely to be seen off by a gamkeeper with a shotgun, in my experience in this and many others of Cefn estates caves. A pity as ther are some great small caves in Denbighshire.

  • Does anyone know where this cave is located?

  • I went to this cave with my local scout group in November 2007. I was great. We went though a small crack and there was hundreds of bats above us.

  • Thanks for taking us. It was a super day!

  • Wooo : ) great!
