  • please don't use the word 'tie' but use the word 'slur'.

    tie means the same note joined.

  • Thanks for the heads up.

    As you probably noticed, the teacher in this video is not speaking english as his native language (just like me, and really A LOT of people in the internet).

    I personally had never heard the word "slur" up untill now. Always good to learn! BUT, if he had used it, probably fewer people would have understood.

    That being said, lets leave like it is. The point here was pretty clear and easy to understand...

  • Happygolucky is anal retentive, he's not too happygolucky by his comments. There will always be people like him who like to nitpick every cotton picking thing. I wonder why people like him even bother to get up in the morning if all they're going to do is, bitch bitch bitch.

  • if you say so. But slur is the universal word for grouping more than one note at a time in one bow direction.

    Tie refers to linking two identical notes together, such as across a bar line.

    what on earth do you mean by 'heads up'?
