Warwick Thumb Bass Slap Style Sounds

Got this little lady less than a week ago and wanted to show you the great voice of this bass. I play a very simple groove with different pickup positions(both, bridge, and neck) to show you the sound of this bass. This was all recorded into my Macbook using a Korg PX5D. To see how it is set up, I got the idea from Marlowedk and you can see it on www.playbassnow.com

I searched all over the net for a video or MP3 of this, but couldn't find one. I put this on here to all the folks who've wanted thought about purchasing one of these, but are unable to try it out first. I hope you enjoy and leave me some comments on what you think.

I will also be posting other videos of this bass demonstrating fingerstyle and chords as well. I will be doing this with my Lakland Skyline 55-02 also, so stay tuned.

Nice pickup. Don't know if it's 100% right, but it's been a while since I've played it. At least it's close. Did the riff on the E and A strings to show the slap tone of both strings.

only PU that sounds good is the neck pick up. the bridge PU sounds fizly and just plain terrible

Not telling you to change they way you play or that you're wrong and a terrible person but I believe the line goes E D B C each with the D to E at the top

i cant understand how he can get teh slap sound that goood, when i slap on my bass the strings keep hitting the neck and make a metallic anoying sound cus teh strings are hitting the neck :(
