Richard Birman - 20 ans (Pa Chèché Lwen)

One cannot talk about ZOUK music (or zouk love) in the late 90's or throughout the first decade of the 21st century without mentioning the name of RICHARD BIRMAN.
Considered by many as one of the best zouk singers of this generation, Richard Birman has been cooking hits after hits for some time now. We first discovered him in the mid 90's when he was with the popular group FUZION, with which he recorded hits such as "Nuit Bleue", "La Leçon", " Absence" in 1996. Two years later, Richard Birman left FUZION and combined his musical talent with that of another zouk favorite, Alex Catherine, and together they launched a new adventure with the REAL LIMIT project.

With the talented musicians Richard Birman and Alex Catherine as lead singers, the group Real Limit released its first album (FEMMES) in 1998.
The CD became a sensational hit album. Then in 2000, Richard dropped his first solo album (TOUT EN DOUCEUR), followed in 2001 by a double disc, SANS ELLE (his second solo album). Once again, Richard Birman topped the Zouk charts with more than 3 hits from that album (SANS ELLE).

In 2002, Alex Catherine and Richard Birman returned to studio and blessed zouk fans around the world with REAL LIMIT 2nd studio CD. The disc took the zouk market by storm. Hit songs like "La Déchirure (Fo'w Aprecie), Elle et Moi, Tou Pre Mwen were being played on radio from Africa to the Caribbean, from the USA to France.

In 2005, Richard Birman's 3rd solo album (TENDRE BANDIT) came out and the artist didn't deceive his fans. He stayed true to his commitmenet to produce quality music with meaningful lyrics. In 2008, Richard dropped his 4th solo album (PURE SENSATION). The album contains new music as well as some of the biggest hits in Richard Birman's career 15+ years career.
