@ColeyReinvented Thank you. It helps to talk about it and to know there are others out there in the same situation. No one I know as young as I am have dentures but viewing others videos makes me feel even more confident in talking about it with people.

I had all of mine pulled when I was 25 because an antibiotic destroyed my teeth. It was HARD to have it done so young. They gave me dentures which I was never able to wear, all dentures are a universal size & I have a small mouth & a bad gag reflex, I've been looking into implant held dentures & a dentist who will customize the teeth so they don't look like a basic row of chiclets. It's difficult to go through I know.

@Anglynn74 I've looked into implant held dentures and watched some videos on youtube. I dont know if I could go thru that. It looks very painful. Not to mention I could never afford them lol Would be great to hear from someone first hand who did have them done tho. Keep me posted on your progress :)

I'm 18 years old and have had troubles with my teeth since I was a child. Unfortunately, I got my father's teeth so I have almost no enamel. I brush them, floss them, and use mouth wash twice a day. My teeth crack and chip very easily. They are pretty much rotting away in my mouth. A couple people have told me that I should just get all of them pulled and get dentures, or get some of them pulled and get partials. Should I? Or should I just live with the pain of my own teeth? I need help.

@TinaAnnaMarie14 that is really only a question you can answer. I could really only tell you that a big factor is your insurance and financial situation. If its reasonable to try and save them then go for a partial but if its something you will be paying to fix the rest of your life then maybe dentures are the route to go. Its truely only up to you.

Hi Stephanie! Great idea doing this video (btw, you should check out some of the other youtube denture videos like kalinjax and the site denturesanewsmile). Your new dentures look very nice - can't wait what they will look like once they are in and you can smile. How have the extraction sites healed up? After 7 weeks, are there still holes visible in your gums or has it smoothed out? (if you want, you can show it in another video?)

@LibertyBelle99 Thanks for the great comment! It has been 9 weeks and 1 days since I had them all pulled and I can wear them all day now :) The extraction sites have not completely healed but they are very close. I should have more videos up by the end of this week, and yes, I do wear my teeth! I will try to get some video soon of what my extraction sites currently look like.
