In an earlier video made by Markzware and uploaded via Graphicstart.com we saw a very unorthadoxed file recovery.

Fixing an Adobe InDesign file effectively with QuarkXPress. Oh yeah, a a handful of very useful conversion tools from Markzware, ID2Q (InDesign to QuarkXPress) and Q2ID (QuarkXPress to Adobe InDesign).

In this next round if footage, we see Arnold from Markzware showing us this proof of concept was more than a fluke. He fixes an other Adobe InDesign file that was crashing and not opening and informs us of the exciting recovery details...

  • Very interesting. Why don't you develop a standalone Indesign recovery utility? You could call it ID2ID, for example. Not anyone has QuarkXPress so far.
