be careful...Ive had very bad luck with this mixer. great concept really bad build. in 2 years 2 have broken on me (2nd one was to replace the first. took 8 mnths to get it after I sent in the first) the mixer never left my desk and was never used live as it was intended. now Ive got a really expensive piece of junk.

No Windows 7 or Vista 64, Korg have not updated Zero 4/8 in three years.
Shame on Korg.

but as you see in all the shop this product discontinued any reason why??
since it is a great product all in one machine..
and some says it has some noise the hiss thing.. is that right ?
and finally do you recommend me go ahead and buy one although the price is high??

Nope, it doesn't work with protools.
Well maybe as a midi controller but not as a sound card.
In order to use protools to record you need to have a digidesing sound card.

what? the hell does that mean? mackies are studio mixers. A mixer is a mixer. It gets a bit different when they incorperate midi control. If your using a computer to record then get it, but if not just get any mixer. You'd be paying for more if your not going to use the midi capabilities anyways..

I am now a proud owner of a Zero 8! This is a fantastic unit with an amazing 161/4'/16 RCA inputs and 16 output! I'm running nearly my entire studio through this unit! It's like having a patch bay, control surface, Kaoss Pad EFX, mixer, and a audio interface all in one! It is hard to compare this unit to anything on the market. If you have the money get it! The hiss is what I find to be normal for an analog mixer. No problems!
