  • They're Americans. Of course they don't want to take responsibility.

That's what they would do here - get into something they know they probably shouldn't, then whine about the consequences.

It's a reality check isn't it? Wandering into a shithole like North Korea & getting locked up.

Maybe they'll think twice about doing this again as they're stuffed into thier cell the size of an animal carrier every night.

    Enjoy your stay girls!

  • I can imagine 2 cute asians illegally crossing into USA Border to do a story against USA, their country responded as ours would have in same circumstances

  • wow where is the compassion? they have been there for over 100 days they could have been brainwashed to say whatever they are saying now. Lets not forget that we have no clue what happened on march 17th. I think journalists go to the extreme to tell a story that very much needs to be known and they know the risks but that does not mean they deserve the kind of punishment that has been dealt out. Journalists are very brave people and I thank them for their work.

  • 12 years hard labor for illegally entering a country....Damn they got screwed..They will probably die in those camps like alot of others have...I hope they can escape or we send in some covert people to get them out.

  • Am i the only person here in awe that America is not putting just a 'little' more pressure an n korea about this. they take our reporters to 'death' camps, launch missles, detonate nuclear weapons, and .... silence. When will this administration grow a pair of nuts?

  • The look on hillary's face is not encouraging, I think she knows these two journalists are doomed.

Let us talk honestly about these camps they are sentenced to. The journalists were sentenced to go to death labor camps. There are many of these in north korea, where often entire families are sent to work until they die. They are not given enough food to survive well. Almost everyone who goes will die. This is one of the most evil governments in world history it is an atrocity.

  • these women obviously witness something that is against human rights and that's why they got lock away. the terrible thing about this is america is not doing nothing about it just letting these women sit and getting abused all sorts of ways in prison. people be afraid to travel to russia, korea, and iraq because you can easily be next if you witness injustice happenning in foreign soil.
