Video of Amtrak's daily Auto Train, northbound on July 25, 2007. View is from old St. John's River bridge looking west under Route 17/92. Notice the Atlantic Coast Line RR heritage on the rail drawbridge.

  • You were standing on the lake monroe bridge, right?

  • Yup, the old bridge just to the east of the 19/92 bridge. From there you get a great view of the tracks.

  • Neat video of that train too. Sure had a lot of car carrier cars on the end, guess a lot of people were taking their car with them on that train trip too.

  • Im from Oviedo and know the area very well, its exit 101BC if you traveling on I-4 to the autotrain station

  • What a clip! I'm glad that signs of the ACL still remain 40 years after the SCL merger. About 2 years ago I read in a magazine that the Auto Train is the longest, regularly scheduled passenger train in the world.
