Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I'm from Dublin myself and totally agree with you about Dublin losing a lot of it's charm. During the "Celtic Tiger" buildings went up at a rate of knots without much regard to how the hell they looked, the place became so damn materialistic and people started becoming selfish and "me, me ,me". The recession has put a dent in that but the rare old times are long gone...

@ryangst It was tricky from the point of view of crowds and not being able to get a decent spot to put my tripod down anywhere. I also feel the city has lost its charm and now looks like any UK regional town.
