  • We had this conversation at my academy. Was it bad officiating? Perhaps... but there's a reason why there's a hierarchy of submissions. If only Roger Gracie had mounted and choked him out, it would of been an undisputed submission.

  • But yeah I agree, that was terrible officiatiing. His arm was broken, so if he cant fight within the rules because of it, he's lost!

  • Roger showing immense class as well. If it had been me i'd have wanted to sucker punch him after the bell haha

  • looks to me this isnt the whole fight Jacare must of been wiining on points before ....roger arm barred broke his arm so he fleed for a couple of minutes and got the win, bad officiating in my opinion

  • that is the worst display of officiating I have seen. Clear violation of the rule by avoidance and fleeing. Roger won that in my book

  • You can't expect a whole lot more when Jacare's arm is completely broken.

  • LOL! I think Jacare has amazing Jiu Jitsu but all he did was run away and avoid Roger, I guess you can't expect a whole lot more than that when the guy has 35 lbs and the same skills. Off of that footage I have no idea how Jacare could have won on point.

  • What... what are they doing?
