@1138thz AAA might have been effective 40-50 years ago. Currently its capabilities are not sufficient to deal with jets. Back then precise bomb runs required you to go relatively slow and low. Not the case these days. A typical 30mm AA gun will peak out at about 3000m while being considerably effective only within 2000m.
AAA still has its uses but its no longer intended against jets, its primary use is for close-in defense, UAVs and rotary wing aircraft.

hmmmm...but It was the ZSU-23-4 Shilka AA guns and the ZSU-23-2 towed AA guns that essentially neutralized the Israeli Air Force in 1973. And AA guns accounted for most of the losses of US Aircraft in Vietnam. AAA is still quite useful on the battlefield.
