Here's "Fire on the Mountain" on the fiddle. This arrangement of "Fire on the Mountain" was inspired by the playing of Clayton McMichen, though his melody is a bit different from mine and he doesn't use a drone all the way through if I recall correctly.

I think the low part of "Fire on the Mountain" is pretty tricky to play, simple though it may sound.

  • is ur camra turned or are u left handed?

  • @kateybell1 The camera reverses everything.

  • @ivanrorick Oh and great playing sounds wonderful

  • @kateybell1 thanks!

  • sounds good. are you in standard tuning?

  • @thebetterhalf37 Nope, I'm in ADAE. It makes the tone of the fiddle sound completely different even though I don't use the low A string in the song. "Sympathetic vibrations" I think it's called. You play a high A note and you end up with 3 A strings bouncing off each other.
