  • @TheLivingHeiromartyr yes I agree, too much vibrato, in barroco pieces there is not too much vibrato like Hilary does

  • @Eirik175 I agree Grumiaux's tempo for this piece is better... still I like Hahn overall more for most Bach pieces.

  • i never used to be able to get the tempo right in this, thank you so much for putting me right

  • What a melancholic Allemande, almost like a dance at a funeral procession.

It isn't the interpretation that turns me off, but it's the artificial echo effects that were used to create the feel that were unwarranted.

  • @TheLivingHeiromartyr What, you heard Bach play this piece?

  • AArrgghhh, to much Vibrato and Rubato :( will no one ever play this piece as it was intended?

  • This exquisite piece at some times sounds like the Bach Chaccone

  • @Eirik175 It's too slow for you, but that doesn't mean it's too slow. I enjoy Bach played faster as well, but I also enjoy hearing different interpretations. If everyone played it the same there would be no point in listening to more than one version.

  • @bababamoto This is a good example of an advanced violinist giving their own interpretation of a piece instead of following the masses. It's quite all right for you not to enjoy it, we all have our own tastes, but your critique is worthless.
