Thanks Chuck. I like the mini ranch idea. Something that I am thinking about doing to supplement a teachers income. My second job would be mini farming.

I grew Stupice last year and they did great.

Beefsteak is a good standby Variety,. The Early is a bit more prolific and produce a nice usable size tomato.
I enjoy Both Varieties with a preference to Early Girl because we eat tomatoes in hand a lot and their size is a couple nice bites

I assume you mean Side shoots...
I stared to let them come on strong in Mid august because of our Intense heat and Sun.
But the plants were pruned severely early on.

Chuck,
Would you tell us or spell the name of the russian "sapeachy" tomatoes, I can't find them anywhere or on the web. Any other big varieties you like would help.

The Variety is Stupice and a Google search will show plenty..enjoy!

I saw it in your info after I posted sorry. Are you going to be doing a new series for this year? I hope so, I'm doing 5 varieties this year, next year I will try you Stupice and Glacier.
