This is a demo of the LP Cajon, Djembe, and bell bracket combined with various striking implements from Vic Firth. I demonstrate how a variety of hand percussion instruments can explored in various combinations. These instruments can be re-invented by also using a variety of sticks, brushes and rutes. I look forward to your feedback.

  • The djembe is not amplified. Since I haven't seem or heard you it's difficult to comment. However, I will make sure the bottom of the djembe if off the floor several inches. That will give you more bass response. Keep an eye out for more educational video in the near future. THANKS for your support! ~ Tom

  • Gavin~ Thanks for your interest. The rutes are thin bundles of sticks held together by a plastic band. The sound is softer than a stick but louder and more defined than a brush. I hope that helps. ~ Happy Drumming~ Tom
