  • EU/US must see the similarities of this struggle with those of the Balkans. The victims and villains are different, but the story is the same. Tamils tried non-violence but suffered only unabated extermination by GOSL. GOSL sponsored terrorism created the LTTE. LTTE too negotiated for peaceful existence- Ask Norway. Please wise up to the GOSL agenda and prevent the formation of another terror group. Impose a Tamil homeland along pre-colonisation borders is the only resolution. Stop Race Crimes.

  • @ memaansex: If the SL govt can handle things alone, then why does it need world aid? Could you please answer that?

Why are no reporters/media persons not being allowed into certain areas in Sri Lanka? It seems that not even Sri Lankan mediapersons are being allowed there!

It is very sad that the sufferers are the civilians who are caught in between the LTTE and the Sri Lankan govt.

  • Y do you think SL GOV cannot handle it? Y do you think NGOs will do anything special? There were 50 NGOs were operating since 2004 in nothern area. They have claimed to do millions n millions of dollers worth of work in the east. But when GOV reach those areas they couldn't even found single building..... where is the money they have got for projects? what happend to the so called development in the north? how do u ask GOV to trust NGOs anymore. GOV seeking answers for these questions from NGOs.
