either get a second kaoss pad and link the up like beardyman or the easier way is simply to use shift+sample when you have 2 or 3 samples which you'd be happy to combine into 1. example record individual samples onto A, B and C, then press shift+sample then D. now you've got all the sound still and 3 open memory banks. the only problem is that you then obviously can't use the individual sounds within D for effect should you wish
