Paul Volk's compound turbo Eclipse dyno

This is the first successful compound turbo'd DSM (thought there's a few now :-) ). It uses a little B16G and a 60-1. Running 47 PSI and flowing roughly 75 lbs/min airflow. Also, this is an AWD car, but dynoing in FWD mode (AWD dynos are rare around here).

Power was down due to slight clutch slippage, lack of traction on the roller, and a backpressure/reversion issue. The blank areas on the dynograph are where we lost ignition signal on the pickup (really needed two of them).

As long as you have a good radiator, a vented hood, and meth injection, I think it would be pretty easy to keep IAT's underhood temps, and coolant temps down whille beating on it for extended periods of time. The torque band would be a huge advantage for autoxing.
