  • I am learning a lot from this health channel of UCLA.

  • I had a transplant at UCLA in 2008. Dr. Farmer was head of the surgery. The whole team is amazing. I'm doing pretty well and can now eat on my own and live a relatively normal life.

  • my daughter is short gut and is having liver failure as well. She was just evaluated for the transplant. I am very nervous. But it makes me so happy to see Vincent doing so well after his transplant. It gives me hope :)

  • This is my grandson Vincent and he's doing great, he was born with only a 10th of his intestine.

  • How does one end up being born without a small intestine? That's a very odd neonatal situation.
