A brakeman flagging the Highway 56 railroad crossing in French Lick, Indiana, in order for an excursion train to pass. The flagging is a necessity due to road construction obscuring the view of motorists.

  • Anyone know why this line does not appear on google maps?

  • It is an abandoned Southern line. It is not used for regular passenger or freight service.

  • do they have any of the those old steamers running yet or are they still working on them

  • They are still working on the old steam engines. I think they have plans to make one operational, however many years down the road that may be.

  • How far is the casino from where this was shot?

  • About 1,000 feet behind where I was standing.

  • oh man, stop zoomin arround, decide you for a perspective, if you wat to show red blinkin lights shot them on another moment with a tripod and the cut them into the scene
