Napoleon: Total War - H.264 HD Quality test

Got the game yesterday! ^^
Straight away, I started up Fraps and recorded the first land battle tutorial mission.

Fps without Fraps: 30-60 on land battles and 40-60 on naval battles
Fps with Fraps: the game runs at 25fps in the first 8 seconds of recording, then kicks up to a smooth 30. I experience rare slowdowns to the low 20's.
Since Fraps' latest version is constructed and coded in a way you always have the highest quality files as possible, the user might experience slowdowns which are NEVER re-experienced when playing back a recording, except if this slowdown is a "freeze" bug.
This is why the whole thing is silky smooth :P

but I wouldn't advise buying it right now, you should try buying the newer AMD or Nvidia cards

Don't use this game to see what graphics card you guys wanna buy, its not optimized at all, and will make the top cards look like shit.
