"One of the places I stayed was Dharamsala, which is a city in the upper reaches of the Kangra Valley and is surrounded by dense coniferous forest. McLeod Ganj, a village within the Dharamshala is the home of the current Dalai Lama, Tenzin Gyatso. For the time I was there I lived deep down in the forest at the secluded Dip Tse Chok Ling Monastery. Close by I also spent time the Bhagsu Waterfalls a wonderful place for meditation, Tai Chi Yoga etc.
It was during my time in McLeod Ganj that I was able to meet and speak with the Dalai Lama at his temple and place of residence Tsuglagkhang Temple.
I just loved being here in McLeod Ganj and surrounding area. Such a wonderful place and I know without a doubt that shall return someday soon!" - Terry
