@Whatupwidat yeah nukes well considering that the giants can cross entire countries in a couple of hours that means that most of them can go at speed of 747 or faster, so its possible that the moment they see the missile they could just run to safe distance, since most nukes only have a 10-20 mile radius, also who to say nukes effect them at all?

The BFG should've gone stateside - couple of tactical nukes would've done the trick rather than risk the soldier's lives capturing the giants for some sort of zoo.

Earlier, the BFG said that giants aren't like humans--they don't kill each other. And then the Fleshlumpeater accuses him of being a human. Yet it's the Fleshumpeater who becomes the true human when he tries to kill the BFG. Anyone else notice this?
