If you read history books, these things happened throughout the ages. This kind of killing is not unique at all. Different motives and methods, but same result. Maybe concience is just a cultivated thing, sometimes overtaken by instinct.

@SeanMBryans sadly with the way things look today, histroy truly is reeating itself.

Thank you Herr Groening- you've redeemed yourself- somewhat.

Thank you for the documentary. You can say the the guilty was the majority of germane not coping with the depression. But Hitler manipulated them. Tricking them to think that he would make the German economy better.By the time many realize he was liar.It was too late and they did not know what to do.They remain complacent.but those idiots who still believed in him were will to take place of the soldiers, when the Nazis were losing.I still forgive them. they got punished enough

who will bring the liars of the US state department to court ?

@Ponyboy8877 What you say may be true or not (I don't know of events in the USA), but could a eugenics programme really motivate that which went beyond even indifferent or callous attitudes to victims of research for military purposes (understandable although repugnant), either in Auschwitz or by Unit 731. The wanton cruelty experienced by those that inflicted suffering on others in the most vile and pointless medical experimentation in these establishments almost beggars belief :-(

@Strefanasha Places like Auschwitz do exemplify man's evil side, and relatively few can have a disproportionately bad impact, particularly when normal legal or institutional controls and accountability do not exist or are difficult to apply, which is often true in war time. However, whilst it may be of little comfort to the victims at the time, 'hell on earth' places (vernichtungslager, gulag, killing fields etc) are transitory: art, culture, science, love and compassion live on :-)
Very well done and very informative - Hope it teaches some a lesson about history repeating itself - with the hope it does not.
