Yes, you're right. Khalil Fong is a great song writer hiimself, but that's not all there is to music. Musical arrangement - the re-writing and organization of musical instruments in a different style and order is also an art in its form. Khalil Fong re-arranged this piece and it was done very well. Most original songs are better than covers, but Khalil's cover are better than its originals. Just my opinion.
