you kill plants plants have life too dont you feel terrible ? your a killer just cause they dont move or talk you eat them? plants have just as much influence on our life as animals do and they are all living creatures just something to think about lol

Lol I think the big difference is consciousness, and ability to feel pain. So it's not really a matter of thinking inside a box as it is a matter of reasoning. We have to eat something organic, and these plants don't think or feel pain. Best eat them! And I think creatures only refers to animals...organisms may be the word you're thinking of? anyways, MCL.

first i will state the deffinition of creature as follows (anything created, whether animate or inanimate.) ok also we have no knowledge as to wether plants can feel pain it is an assumption that plants do not think or feel pain they may not have a brain but they have celular structures that perform photosynthesis which is mandatory for the LIFE of the plant

hmmm well we know animals generally do, and they do not have a nervous system, which is the way we feel pain, and they have no reaction when you do things that would harm humans, so based on the lack of a brain at all it's safe to say that the life of a single plant is more ethical to take than that of an animal. and with apples, for example, we're not even killing the tree...

i agree but you do not only eat apples you eat other plants that must be harvested compleetly which intern kills the living creature now if you were to only eat the fruit of a living plant then you would have a reasonable argument

I was a vegetarian for 4 years, consider going back to it every now and again. Anyway it took people about 4 years to get it into their head that I was a veggie. They it took about 4 years to convince them I wasn't a veggie anymore.

there is no evidence that they dont either once again it is a simple assumption fealings can not be determined by vital organs maybe it is possible they feel emotional pain the same way sience can not determine how or why we feel certain emotions it can not with plants
