Rick DellaRatta performs the classic "You Must Believe in Spring" from 1967 "Les Demoiselles de Rochefort" The song was composed by French composer Michel Legrand.
"Now I am quietly waiting for the catastrophe of my personality to seem beautiful again, and interesting, and modern. The country is grey and brown and white in trees, snows and skies of laughter always diminishing, less funny not just darker, not just grey. It may be the coldest day of the year, what does he think of that? I mean, what do I? And if I do, perhaps I am myself again." - Excerpt from Frank O'Hara's poem Mayakovsky. Peace Love Freedom Maggie
I think he emphasizes the wrong words sometimes - EVERY line can't decresc. the same way. But better than a lot of the other vocal versions on youtube. And difficult to do both jobs at once - bravo! Wish I had an hour to coach this guy.

nice job. it'll be interesting to hear Streisand's interpretation, when her new jazz album comes out next month.

Very nice. If you just had a little reverb on your mic this would sound like a studio recording. Very nice!
