CNN's John Vause reports the Chinese navy foiled a pirate attack in the Gulf of Aden on April 7.

The Gulf of Aden (Arabic: خليج عدن‎; transliterated: Khalīj 'Adan, Somali: Khaleejka Cadan) is located in the Arabian Sea between Yemen on the south coast of the Arabian Peninsula and Somalia in the Horn of Africa. In the northwest, it connects with the Red Sea through the Bab-el-Mandeb strait.

  • Zhongguo wan sui! It is really great, that China is using her navy in very beneficial way! Like in year 1421!

  • to Twirly60

The west has been in that region patrolling for decades, what drug are you on? What possible benefit does the west have in allowing their merchant ships to get hijacked?

  • kill em,sink em,end of story.

  • yes of course there is improvement in tibet for the past 60 years but in exchange for that tibetan's must follow the chinese law with out complaint or raise voice against it...their dream of freedom is bury because of that improvement but in reality the prosperity in tibet cant hide the real truth about tibetan's oppression under chinese rule.

  • @grvc44 if you compare today tibet`s situation to what it was 50 years ago, you would see that there are huge improvements. in 1960: the tibet governor is Chinese in 2010: he`s tibetan. in 1960: religion is almost not tolerated in2010: china do everything they can to improve the monk`s life. stop at only looking at the result, look at the progress.

  • @ThePegasusknight but tibet will always fail to govern itself as long as china exist or after china exhaust all of tibet's natural resources!

  • @grvc44 tibet always have its own way to govern and to do things till 1959 when china decides to make them follow chinese laws like any other part of china. what's weird about tibet is that they are the only one who think that china is trying to make a cultural genocide. the manchoria doesnt think so, nor mongolia nor anywhere else in china.

  • @ThePegasusknight i watch it and i found it with chinese conspiracy in china criticizing the state media for being a lap dog of goverment and biased will put you on jail. and second like i said before cia's participation in tibet is a no issue since tibetan are tibetan live with out hope and choice for self determination, china always dictate how life their going to be...not tibetan.!

  • @grvc44 un human rights watch dog? you mean people who work for the us right? wtf torture in 2008? go watch these videos to see who's the true liars: watch?v=uSQnK5FcKas AND watch?v=EVdx3Qh5Ct8 btw, wtf does cia have to do with qin shi huang?
