@myzakm I think it's a funny joke, but you're making more out of it than is there. There's really no satire involved. It's a technical, mechanical joke. He sets it up by asking if it's too soon for a Ray Charles joke. Then he says stuff that would be wildly inappropriate no matter how long ago Charles died. The he says, "It's probably still too soon." It's funny because he's making himself the fool. Sarah Silverman is really good at those kinds of jokes.

Omg. The point to this joke is that it's forced. He's being so overtly racist that it's clear that he's satirizing racism itself. This joke works on a different level than if you take it at face value.

@EpicurusIVXX I NEVER said there isn't racism in Canada. Its all over. I said there is a DIFFERENT Kind of racism in Canada. Learn to read. You're a grown man & its a damn shame that you dont understand that simple concept. Nobody is BORN racist. People decide to be racist. @sn1zzo i never said it doesnt happen. im very aware that it happens. it happens in all variances from someone directly calling someone else a racial slur, to people making judgements about people they see that are prejudice. i dont know why you think i dont think it happens.

what i have a problem with is YOU thinking that it doesnt happen in canada. that just shows how little you really know on the subject. race is a universal issue. humans are xenophobic.
