This is an example of how I go straight to final inks from rough layouts. This is a panel from Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time graphic novel from Disney Press (released April 2010). Artwork created on a Mac using Manga Studio Ex 4.0 and a Wacom Cintiq 12WX. This video is in real time, with no speed adjustments.

My work can be seen at http://www.cameron-stewart.com and my weekly online comic (also drawn digitally) can be seen at http://www.sintitulocomic.com, part of the TX Comics collective at http://www.txcomics.com.

  • @cameronmstewart ty for your fast response.. ya i found a 12wx for 600.. thats a steal... i like my intuos4 but i draw with my wrist and fingers.. not so much my arm like some artists. im so used to rotating my canvas that the intuos4 just isnt cutting it..

  • Dude I love this, your process is so fluid and precise, watching makes me want to practice hard!

  • @calangoespacial According to the info box he's working on a Mac in Manga Studio EX 4.0 on a Wacom Cintiq 12WX

  • What software is this?

  • great clean lines!

  • Damn you're fast! Really nice to see how it all shapes together :)

  • @Yeshuajesus hey, if you're using photoshop go into the brush settings and uncheck pressure sensitivity. That should sort is out for you. Even just playing with your brush settings will give nice results :)

  • I've noticed that when you do your brush strokes, they stay the same. When I do my brush strokes the software automatically readjusts them slightly, changing their appearance. How do you stop this from happening? Your art is awesome. Thank you for sharing.
