You have good discernment. I heard the same argument too. There is one big difference. These New Age practices have been practiced before JEsus' times. The manifestations are never endorsed by the Bible. As a matter of fact they are not even mention in th Bible.

I found this excellent video a while ago. Excellent comparison between the practicioners of Kundolini (Hindu Yoga) and what has been going on the charismatic churches for about 20 years.

The kundalini looks like demon possessed. I dont see any glorification of Christ envolved, and you probly leave even more empty than when you came. Or maybe filled with some strange spirit , which is not the| Spirit of God.

Dr. Brown served as a leader in the Brownsville Revival from 1996-2000, which i think was some the the beginning footage. I just Dr. Brown very much and he has written some books about true revival. Google ask dr. brown, under resources read about revival. He has a great book called A time for Holy Fire.

This is even funny it's sickening. It's Satan working his way to posses people & way'll I was watching this I actually started to feel like throwing up cause of how EVIL & Sicken this is. Be aware that this is also happening in colombia, extremely horrible manifestations, kundalini like have entered in those churches, they claim weird things and you can actually see them have sexual pleasure in these manifestations, for example, they lift their hips while they are on ground or shake without control, totally sad and demonic.
