I believe n being submissive but honestly, submitting is found n YOUR WEDDING VOWS. That is what God intended. I am not obligated 2 (nor should I) submit 2 any man that I'm not married 2. Full submission (on my part) comes w/full committment (on his part). The only way I can fully submit is if I know my partner has OUR best interest n mind. I'm not going 2 just "submit".They r lots of men out here that want a woman 2 submit, but they don't want 2 fully committ, love their woman & lead.

You don't submit because of love - you submit b/c you trust that person to lead you the right way. The only true love is agape love. In order for me to submit - I would have to know that this person is a wise and smart indiviual that have conducted his life responsibily. Some men cannot conduct their finances properly-some will lead you to the poor house.

@truesdalek the only thing thats wrong with your statement my friend is that theres no such thing as pre-martial relationships. in the good book everything is explained, all you have to do is read it from beginning to the end. the bible explains marriage is sex. so once a man as the good book calls it "knowing" a virgin woman or woman that his father gave him is marriage. men can have as many wives as they can spend their time with. we woman were cursed bcuz of eve to submit to our husbands.

@justicecarly thats plain rediculous friend. submission is commanded by the MOST HIGH a silent and loving/obedient woman is from the MOST HIGH so basically that passage means if ANY WOMAN wont submit to you thats not a woman you would want. firstly marriage arent vows exchanged from man to woman then woman to man. thats stupid, this form of mental slavery is irritating to me. the bible if any one believes it it also says a WOMAN IS TO SUBMIT TO HER HUSBAND. if you cant submit your not a WOMAN!

Submission is EARNED No woman, no matter should not submit to the wrong woman. With alot of black men submission means putting up with whatever the man dishes out and letting him have his cake and eat it too. Before I got married, I made it clear that RESPECT is the only way a relationship or marriage will work for me. Yes I am married. Black and other men need to KNOW AND UNDERSTAND WHAT SUBMISSION MEANS.

I believe that submission is for married couples. Before marriage women should be submitting to GOD. The more we seek HIM, the more we will find ourselves in the appropriate place in pre-marital relationships.
