@HunterXray Diesels in the 80's weren't good in the cold, now they all have little things called GLOW PLUGS which makes them start easily even at -35 degrees celcius !

@jacobennis Yeah, I was wondering about that, then saw your statement. Because most diesels aren't too well known for their cold weather starting abilities.

@flyrock45 Near the Arctic circle here and ULDS is crap in cold weather. Would have to put a anti-gel for sure but a diesel runs alot cooler than a combustion engine and it might never warm up to a proper temp . At -40 I think you would have to have it in a heated bldg before you could start it or at the least block heaters. Still cool, but not ideal for up here.

The only fuel I would put in there is 34CP ulds(arctic grade diesel)

To me it sounds like a Kubota
Its made by Briggs and Stratton vanguard for diahtsu. It's a Briggs

its a briggs 3 cylinder and it starts just fine in the cold
