Please leave your comments and thanks for watching.Classic guthrie song taken from an earlier Carter family tune,its played around the c and f chords with plenty of hammering on,the melody is picked out using the thumb while the fingers strum the rhythm in a scratch style.a real fun one to learn and play.

Really well done -- this has been one of my favorite videos for a few weeks now.
I know the chords are C and F -- are you playing claw hammers on the higher strings? I've been trying to figure out the tab for this melody for a few months (it's the same as Phil Ochs' "Joe Hill") but if it's just a thumb-brush, that makes things easier. :)
