On November 11, in the 11th hour of the 11th day, we take a moment of silence to remember those who have died for our country. Whether it's the amazing victory at Vimy Ridge, the liberation of Holland in WWII, the police action in Korea, or the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan and other nations of the world, we owe so much to those who gave their lives.

In Flanders Fields the poppies blow, between the crosses, row on row...

Song: Let it Be - The Beatles
From the Across the Universe Soundtrack

  • @chartwellREIT and unfortunately today generation of Canadians take it for granted

  • @dave2806 you are welcome

  • Total embarassment to America, our ancestors, men and god.

Jews have hated germans since they started fucking slaves and got kicked out of their religion for shameless fornication defiling their blood and breaking the covenant. They started americas slave trade, the fed and the crusades which continue to this day. Germanics(most white people) are the israelites of the bible which is why we still speak hebrew derived languages and spread the bible among many other signs for those without fear.

  • 1 person. out of 20 000 people. 1 person does not appreciate the millions who died so that we can live without worrying if we well live for the next day.

  • So much sacrifice for everything we have today. Thank you to all that served.

  • beautiful song but the lyrics have nothing to do with this - they are in fact the opposite of what the video is about. Being a liberator, offering your life on the altar of freedom is akin to saying firmly with great heart to the universe 'I SHALL NOT LET THIS BE!'

  • Fantastic, someone does remember .

  • lest we forget

    CHEERS FROM CANADA

  • Thanks Canada! Britain’s greatest ally during WW2. All volunteer army came to Britain’s aid from the start; donated one billion dollars to Britain’s war effort with no strings attached, unlike another country I could mention, who bled Britain dry while war profiteering; participated in lend-lease; towards the end of the Battle of the Atlantic, more than 400 ships, almost half the North Atlantic escort force, were Canadian; played a vital role in D-day landings. Great effort!

  • the sacrifice Canada made to stand at our side every time we called will never ever be forgotten . you fought and gave in massive contrast to your size . god bless you all . from a grateful Englishman .
