If its a left turn, look at your mirrors & then over your left shoulder. If its a right turn look at your mirrors & then your right shoulder(bikes & motorcycles;doesn't matter if there is a lane for them there or not they still can get in) I got points taken off because I didn't look over my right shoulder but I did look at the mirrors thankfully I still passed.
when checking your blind spots, you are not supposed to look over your shoulder for ages (3 secs+) . (In denmark) we're told to just quickly look around, less than a second or so, just to confirm that there is noone there. therefore you can maintain your speed. You still have to remember to adjust your speed according to the traffic ahead of you. If on a highway, you have to pass a slower car but there's a faster one behind you overtaking you. adjust your speed so you won't hit the slower car :)
that is true but whoever designed the animation of the road and car demo did it wrong. its supposed to be a center left turn lane, where the is a dashed yellow line inside and solid yellow outside. further on in the road it becomes a center left turn lane
theres another video about different lanes and what they mean, check it. at 1:19 the car's only allowed to cross the center lane for a left turn so traffic doesnt get stuck while it's waiting...
No I thought the "wall" was double yellow lines, I think if they are broken that means you can pass if it is safe. Correct me if I'm wrong but that's what I'm guessing.
