Matchbox Twenty-Downfall Live (Alternate Bridge)

This is MB20 performing "Downfall" live at the St. Pete Times forum in Tampa on their Exile tour. The luggage handler is the star of this video because I have not yet learned how to use iMovie very well.

And I thought MB 20 can't do anything bad. I guess I was mistaking. I am a huge fan myself but I have to say that they did really bad with this one.Kyle and Paul's voices don't fit in anywhere at all and Rob has gotten old and can't sing the heights right anymore. A natural thing that happens when you get older. But knowing how great they have been through all these years, of course I forgive that. I think they should stop it though. The new changes are unfortunately not MB 20 like anymore:(

You're wrong. Rob had a cold at the show, and this is a very crudely mixed recording, seeing as the USB wristbands were available immediately after the show. It sounded great live.

I must be behind the times...USB Wristbands?? not sure what that would be (I know what USB is, and I know what a wristband is but...) My sister is a MASSIVE MB20 fan. Do tell what this wristband thingy is...might have to try and find one for Christmas!! =)

The USB wristband is a rubber bracelet that has a USB plug-in as a clasp. You can unclasp it and play/upload the songs on a computer. They recorded each concert on their Exile tour and sold the concert recordings on wristbands immediately after the shows. This "Downfall" recording is from USB wristband I bought after the Tampa, FL show. If you want to give your sister a cool gift, you might consider this 'best of' wristband, containing their best performances of each song on the tour...

The track came from their USB wristband with all the audio from the concert...so there is no video, sorry!

i agree that matchbox should never stop they are the only band i listen to i listen to them religiously lol...but you think they should stop cuz they dont sound the same...every album is different...them themselves have said they like to change every album cuz then its like youre doing the same stuff over and over...i think it was the video on the matchbox twenty ep that he said that..but once again even if he cant sing like he use to he should never stop

Someone needs their ears checked!! Robs voice gets better and better as time goes on, and their new tracks on Exile on Mainstream were fabulous. They were each written by ALL of the guys, not just Rob, and that' what makes them soo good. To say that they should stop is insane, simce every show they play, is sold out. Every stop on the last tour was a packed house. Get a clue.

Dude are you serious? Rob Thomas is one of the best live performers their is right now. Just because his voice isn't as high as it used to be he is still a damn good singer!
