aha! I knew I was hanging on to those old HDD motors for something! Now I've found it. I bet this could evolve into a CNC machine Pendant... Hmmmm *evil grin*

@jose1791 Brushless motors and stepper motors are basically the same thing as far as I understand. Usually we call stepper motors brushless motors with a large number of poles which allow them to be controlled in "steps" (which is not really the case for the hard drive motor).
