My Boy

My boy is a short film that our Media club produced for an online 24 hr contest. We used the following security elements:Baseball,"That better not be what I think is it.", "Stop these shenanigans!", Cheerios, a guitar, and mismatched socks.

This is really funny - I love the voice of the dog! Is there a special significance to the boy's shirt saying "nerd"?

The shirt is just one that he had on that day....no real message.

And the dog? Hmm...he never spoke. The baseball was the main voice and the cheerio was the one at the table... :-P

Some very good shots, and kudos working with animals.

However, the VO work throughout the film felt very tacked on. The baseball voice did not fit or flow with the images.

Watch those cross-fades. They really detract from the quality of an edit.

The film was too long for the idea. It dragged in places. However, there were enough clever elements to keep it interesting.
