Why on early would he relinquish his title? That makes no sense. And furthemrore he wanted the rematch. It was Arum and Pacquaio that turned it down, they went to the Marquez. Why didn't Pacquaio "ok let's do the rematch and I'll knock him out this time". I went back and watched the fight again and if you turn down the commentary and just watch it, you realize the fight is much closer than I initially thought, especially the 2nd half of the fight which Bradley won most of those rounds.

Bradley is a good dude but he should admit that he lost big time to Manny.I was shocked when they gave him the decïson.He did not win that fight.I had Manny winning 9 rounds with 1 or 2 even.I can at best give Bradley 1-2 rounds.Its sad for boxing.So Mr "nice guy" Bradley admit you lost to the boxingfans in the world because we all saw you get beat.

Bradley didn't win the fight against Manny but I do respect the hell out of him. How he fought in the Ruslan Provodnikov fight was one of the gutsiest things I have ever seen in prizefighting. The guy was out in his feet in the 6th and still throwing combinations!

The longer Bradley goes along with this absurd notion that he's really a champion, the more fans will detest him.

He should have come out and said something like...

"I thought Manny won. Of course, I will grant Manny a rematch if he wants it, and if not, I relinquish the title. I want to be the people's champion - not a paper champion"

Fans would truly respect that, but Bradley hasn't the character for that kind of class.

Respect to Tim Bradley for fighting Provodnikov, not many others would have and certainly not Gayweather lol! That fight did show though why people avoid guys like Provodnikov! If you haven't seen that fight, Bradley got floored in round 1 and badly concussed and never recovered! An elite fighter would have finished him which would have been kinder than taking a savage beating for 12 rounds!
