Honours

The aim of this project was to examine the way that a character's personality, mood and emotion can be communicated to the audience, specifically through the use of cinematography and acting performance.

Various aspects of the two techniques were studied and applied to the final piece, including camera angles, composition, expressions and movement.

The piece is based on the Western genre, and takes inspiration from various films and directors, particularly from the 50s/60s period.
