@StrangeCognitivism Money is what it takes to get elected. She won't raise the most money because she's not the daughter of a billionaire, not from a large, money soaked district, and not the correct sex for a republican candidate. I voted for a local guy against her and Terryl Clark the DFL candidate. I didn't vote against her because she's crazy or stupid. She's neither. Yea, used to be a fan of his, but he keeps demonstrating complete ignorance on basic budget issues. Heck, he recently had to have the Laffer Curve explained to him. That's macro econ 101 stuff. Does he not yet understand that interest on our debt is currently only 5% of the budget?? This impending "default crisis" (if we don't raise the ceiling) is a big lie.

@brettwells66 Very important observation we need to start paying what we owe and the interest! Of course Obama does not care and his buddies in the Senate do not either. Their concern is getting playing golf, NBA ratings, fund raising and getting re-elected, so they just keep kicking the bucket ...
