you need to get yours hands on some spiked bases to improve your sound of the sonus fabers. I have a pair of SF Amators on the same stands and a spiked base improves the treble and base significantly.

this is one fan called edward to another audio fan called edward. Small world haha sorry not weird. Just want to say very nice setup. I havn't moved onto the glorious warm sounding valves yet. Still stuck in the class a/b era with old school NAD 2200 power monoblocks. Going to add a valve pre amp to see if that helps. The Yamaha pre amp is good but there is some harshness.

Move your speakers away from that back wall and the sound will improve dramatically.

How can you tell if it sounds good from a crappy camera mic?

@idektron i used have a volvo 850 so got that spot on, yeah love a bit of vinyl myself but im doing a nasty and playing my collection from the pc via all the glorious stuff i got running. It sounds very good but its missing the warmth so need to somehow find some way of making the pc sound better. I like to switch from one artist to another and the pc is the easiest way via iphone remote
