It just doesn't get better than this. I rest my case.

No James Taylor there, other musicians are Gary Burr (the older one) and Rudy Guess

Ms. Carole King this is by far the most beautiful song that was ever made.
-
Probably the oldest singer is James Taylor but ... who's the other one ???

we are friends of 'a certain age' and one of us is ill far away from the rest...this song is for her, shes never really alone as we are all with her in spirit. indeed, this song is more like a HUG <3

love u caroline!

Carole's great talent combined with a gentle spirit still shines through! This brings back memories, listening to this song, having arrived in a new country from England, when I first found 'ain't it good to know I had a friend...' Patti Austin sings a new arrangement of 'Lean on Me', and the words convey the same sentiment as these. Both artists get better and better. The emotion they convey is richer, fuller, deeper -- and that only comes with experience. Thanks for sharing this video!

Still awesome - sounding! Yes you're correct about her being "..So Old.." It's called life experience. Ms. King is still as beautiful as ever in my book.
